For over 20 years, we, <strong data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"170\">Sandy and Steffen<\/strong>, have been drawn to the south again and again. The Corbi\u00e8res enchanted us at first sight and touched us deeply. We were traveling in the most remote corners of the region, always with the feeling that our place had to be here somewhere. <strong data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"686\">Tuchan had long since conquered our hearts<\/strong>, and when we discovered an old bergerie in 2018, we knew: this is it. In 2022, the neighbors offered us their houses \u2013 another bergerie and a shell.   <strong data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1149\">It was not the right moment, but the idea of a refuge was born long ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1389\">Sandy has captured this story, the love of the region, nature and the simple, earthy way of life in her book <strong data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1307\">&#8220;Where the Wild Herbs Bloom&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; an invitation to discover the Corbi\u00e8res with all her senses.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1503\" data-is-last-node=\"\">Today, <strong data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1426\">Refugi Lo Cortals<\/strong> is our contribution to sharing this magic. <strong data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1503\" data-is-last-node=\"\">Come, experience it for yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes you find a place \u2013 or the place finds you.
