Bistrot

Eating is more than pleasure – it is a connection to nature, to people, to one’s own soul. In the bistro of the Refugi Lo Cortal, Sandy Neumann celebrates exactly this philosophy. As a food journalist, recipe developer and food photographer, she has worked for international brands, learned from great chefs and written books herself. Here, in the wild Corbières, she brings her knowledge to the plate – with a seasonal, fresh and down-to-earth cuisine that reflects the region in all its facets.

In the morning, the day begins with an invigorating breakfast on the terrace: homemade bread, honey from local beekeepers, homemade cream cheese, fresh fruit, savoury or sweet waffles.

Breakfast: 18€ p.p.

For trips to the vineyards, there are filled picnic baskets, scented with herbs and the southern French sun. And when the day sinks into warm light, Sandy serves an aperitif or a romantic dinner that nourishes the body, mind and soul – with products from small producers, wild herbs that she collects herself and flavours that tell stories.

Picnic basket from 2 people:

29€ p.p., plus 50€ deposit (refund will be made after return)

3-course picnic, 1 bottle of wine, water

Aperitif platter: 19€ p.p.

3-course dinner: 38€ p.p. , including water, 1 glass of wine, coffee or tea

The Bistrot at Refugi Lo Cortals is not a restaurant – it is an invitation to experience the Corbières with all your senses.
